Description
Several men appear in a street scene. One man leans out of a doorway and throws a stack of rubbish toward a large heap. Two men engage in business inside of a shop. A boy holds a bucket of liquid and prepares to throw it on the heap of debris. Two dogs paw at the base of the heap, one gripping a rat in its mouth. Another dead rat sits prominently on the heap. A barber shaves a man’s hair next to the heap. Two men dump debris from a little onto the heap while a third man with a pipe watches.
