Description
Two devils watch a confusing scene from the crest of a hill. A crowd of men lie on the ground and many appear to be in pain. Several soldiers stand on top of them. On the left, the Ottoman sultan sits atop a chest on a sledge being pulled by two soldiers. Nearby, a Persian official sits atop a man on another sledge that is pulled by two Persian soldiers. A molla sits atop a cushion on another sled that is drawn by a Sufi and a more junior molla. Another man sits atop a large sack on an obscured sledge and drives two men with a whip.
